Website Update - Piankeshaw Trails Woodland Indian Educational Programs

If you are interested in supplementing your social studies curriculum on Native Woodland Cultural heritage, then you want to visit the newly launched “Piankeshaw Trails Woodland Indian Educational Programs” website.

Woodland Indian educational programs inspire young people to use their imagination to envision how ancient cultures lived. Students learn about ancient woodland lifeways through hands on interactive activities. Demonstrations and activities are designed to educate the students on aspects of Archaic, Woodland, Hopewell, Mississippian, and Prto-contact cultures. They also bring attention to aspects of the Piankeshaw, Shawnee, Lenape, Potawatomi, Miami, Iroquois, Huron, Illini, Ojibwa, and Ottawa.

Visit their website or contact Sheryl Hartman, Founder & Managing Director, by email at sheryl@piankeshawtrailsedu.org or by phone at 812-825-1234 and find out more about their hands-on living history programs.
