Is it worth saving money on transportation and utilities at the expense of the education of our children?  Once again the topic of a four day work week is in the news.  According to an AP press article, 4-day school week is once again gaining momentum.  Several financially strapped districts across the United States are already following the 4-day week, and more states are also considering similar actions. 

Children are elated.  However, many parents exhibit concern about the prospect of additional childcare expenses.  Teacher’s Unions and educators are skeptical at best.
